About RoadNinja
RoadNinja is an interstate travel app that helps you find POIs at upcoming exits and save money with local deals/promotions. It has been popular with the press and was featured in some of the top newspaper and websites, including: The New York Times, USA Today, and AdAge.
Description
The RoadNinja Travel App was aimed to help position Lamar Advertising, a traditional outdoor company into the digital media landscape. This was the first mobile application the company launched and was promoted on 1,000+ billboards in over 140 markets in the US. The app generated a million downloads and ranked one of the top 10 travel apps in the App Store and Google Play.
Responsible For:
Developed and designed the RoadNinja brand identity, trademark and user interface
Lead project management
Developed marketing plan, advertising campaign, content strategy, prototyping, design guidelines, analyzing metrics and sales collateral
Oversee all internal and external communications
Press Kit
Sent “Road Trip Survival Kit” teaser mailing to 30 technology/travel editors at national newspapers, advertising publications, and news/technology websites to generate buzz and press coverage timed at the launch.
